The combination of our history, and experience of providing architectural services to companies in Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Louisiana, Texas and Colorado keeps Ellison-Auxier at the forefront of the architectural field.
Our experience and commitment to meeting the client’s needs, ensures successful projects for commercial, educational (higher education and K-12), faith-based, non-profit, recreational and preservation/restoration clientele. Ellison-Auxier Architects has worked hard to bring a diversity of practices that has benefited our clients for planning, programming and design. Ray Herschman led the firm after Walter Boschen until Gary Ellison took control in 1974. Jeff Ellison and Lori Ellison-Wilson became owners in 2003. We are proud to say the firm has been in continuous operation since 1908. We at Ellison Auxier are very community minded. We are proud supporters of the Gold Coat Club at MWSU, the Mustang baseball team, we are active in the chamber of commerce, The Kiwanis Club, Rotary, United Way, St. Joseph Construction Association and have served on many boards and committees throughout the community.

PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT, AIA
Jeff received his education from Kansas State University where he earned a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. He joined the team in 1990 and is a member of AIA & NCARB. Jeff oversees planning and design phases for all projects. Jeff has experience with recreational, faith based, & educational facilities and is currently the firm’s representative for Missouri Western State University and Benedictine College. Jeff is married with 3 kids and in his free time is probably watching them play football and volleyball.
PRINCIPAL ACRHITECT, AIA
Ron received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Engineering from Missouri Western State College and an Architectural Degree from the University of Kansas. Ron has been with the company since 1981, is a member of the AIA, NCARB and has over 40 years of Architectural and Project Management experience. Ron is married and spends his free with family and at the lake.
Jeremy joined the firm in 1996 as a CAD Technician after graduating from Southeast Community College with an Associates of Architecture Degree. As a registered Architect he oversees production and is involved in construction administration. Jeremy has 3 kids in the Savannah District and spends his free time watching them play baseball and football.
Lori holds a Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design and Photography from Missouri Western State University. She joined the firm in 1985 and has been designing and coordinating the interiors as well as space planning for the majority of our projects. She lives in the Savannah District with her 2 kids, enjoys traveling and has a serious photography habit.
Amanda joined the firm in 2014 as a REVIT Technician after graduating from Southeast Community College with an Associates of Architecture Degree. Her ability has her working on many projects in the firm. She became a master gardener in 2015. She is married and is working on installing her own greenhouse.
Riley joined the firm in the fall of 2017. He is a graduate of Missouri Western State University and the grandson of Gary Ellison. This makes him a proud third generation addition to the firm. He is married and lives in St. Joseph. He and his wife enjoy fishing in Oklahoma and traveling.
Nicolette holds a Bachelors of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. After her big city adventure, she returned to her home town of Kansas City and joined the firm in 2017. As a new staff member, she enjoys working on various projects in the firm to broaden her architectural experience as she pursues licensure. She enjoys spending time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and singing with the Kansas City Chorus, a barbershop chorus affiliated with Sweet Adelines International.
